Many modern fraud funnels do not start with a website. They start with a Telegram handle, a voice note, and a promise of access. The chat becomes the office. The screenshot becomes the proof. The countdown becomes the product.
Desk signal
If the only “compliance officer” you can reach is another account in the same
chat network, you are not dealing with an institution.
Common moves
- Manufactured scarcity: “window closes tonight”
- Role-play: analyst, compliance, bank officer — all in one group
- Screenshot stacks with no verifiable channel
- Shaming hesitation as “not serious” or “not liquid”
- Moving the conversation off any record that could be audited
A real desk can wait for counsel. A pressure desk cannot.
What to save
Export chats, keep media with timestamps, note every username change, and capture fee requests in full. Those fragments become the paper trail.
